I took the train from Delft station in the morning. After changing at The Hague and Utrecht I ended up at Ede-Wageningen station, where I rented a bike. I then rode through the city of Ede to reach the Edese Bos (forest of Ede). Once there I parked the bike and walked to the hash. According to OpenStreetMap it was on a footpath, which turned out to be a tiny, barely maintained track through what's probably pretty dense foliage in summer but just some skinny twigs in winter. I found the point, took some pictures and then rode back to Ede, where I visited a second-hand shop. On one of the shelves I found a box of floppy disks, which always come in handy for collectors of old computers like me. When I went to pay, the sales lady asked me "what's this?" with a puzzled look on her face, which made me feel quite old.

I picked up this rental bike at Ede-Wageningen train station.
It's a beautiful day for cycling. The temperature is just above freezing, but it's sunny with a clear blue sky.
I spotted this windmill with only two blades.
I parked the bike at the entrance to the forest.
It's nice and quiet, with a bit of leftover snow on the ground.
