Plans

The cardinals are singing in vernal jubilation, foretelling of a warmth just around the corner. It's a good day for a ride.

Expedition

For some reason it's always the southern suburbs that have the most practical geohashes. Back to Eagan we go, but with a different result from last time. Every time I come out here I see another gas station, a new office park being constructed; a reminder that suburbanization is still very much at work. But the hash's neighborhood itself was very pleasant, and the closest street accessed houses that backed up against a quiet, still-partly-frozen lake. I pulled up to the point right as a young girl was riding her scooter in front of me and that was somewhat awkward, but I said hi, and her mother came by with her dog. I don't think they thought I was strange or dangerous or anything, thankfully. Maybe they just assumed I was taking photos of the evergreens — which I was, since the hash turned out to be right under a... spruce? Let's go with spruce. A nice moment of calm and greenery before I headed back into the city.
