Got train after work from Haymarket to Linlithgow. Walked there. Walked back. Got train home.

It wasn't a particularly eventful hash! Largest source of drama was my phone battery, which was at about 5% by the time I reached the hash. Ended up having to buy a cable from the Linlithgow Tesco to get home - and still, somehow either myself or the ScotRail Tap&Pay app bungled something, and I ended up getting charged £25. With any luck I'll get refunded eventually?

Apparently there's a big Oracle facility here! I can work out that it used to be a Sun Microsystems factory, then an Oracle data centre, but apparently the data centre closed a few years back - so no clue what this is now.
Apparently Clarence is not a person, but the Customer Lighting and Roads Enquiry Centre, a helpline used by many councils.

Small pleasures on the way back: this train officially doesn't have first class, so I'm entitled to sit in the perfectly real first class seats on the train which turned up. But then first class on these trains isn't anything special anyway.
