Iqui: I never thought a 48 12 hash would ever become a viable option for me, but today luck was on my side. I started my trip by riding the luxury two story train to Moosburg, after which I continued by bike. I knew it was supposed to be a warm day, that's why I brought two separate water bottles after all, but only after driving for a few km I realised the temperature was no joke. The closer I came to the location, the hillier it became. It did not take very long until I got to the hash, only the last few metres were a bit problematic because of the tall grass. And after stripping away what must have been hundreds of incredibly small flies from my legs, I started my journey back to Moosburg. The ride was so smooth and there were lots of long descents during the trip, just great stuff.

Closing in on the train station I didn't feel like going home already, so I decided to keep going to Freising. I made sure to stop and buy a Dürüm in the city though as I was quite hungry already (it only cost 5€ again :O). My goal then was finding a place to sit somewhere in the shade, so I thought just going in the direction of Freising should be a good bet. But somehow I encountered the same situation as in my 2025-04-23 48 11 Expedition. Even when I finally got to the Isar, I literally couldn't find any place at all despite me always on the lookout for opportunities. I even took a small detour up a steep incline, where I found the only bench I saw all day, but fully exposed to the burning hot sunlight. Shortly after that I finally found a spot at the shore though, where I had a good time eating my lunch. Thankfully my second water bottle was just enough to get me there, but now I was all out, and so it didn't cross my mind to continue further. I just drove the last kilometres to Freising and got in the train. This had to have been one of my favourite Expeditions, only maybe behind my unsuccessful 2024-09-29 47 11 one :).
