I had only one bus option today to get to Pilsting, so I took trains from München to Straubing via Neufahrn in Niederbayern. The bus dropped me off in the middle of Pilsting, and it was a quick walk to the edge of town. As I approached the dead end where the hash was, a frozen goods home delivery truck pulled in, and an inhabitant of the house directly next to the hash exited to do business. Aware that I may have to go a meter or two into the field, I waited until their business was concluded before visiting the hash to avoid suspicion. The hedge at the edge of the field had a convenient opening at the end of the road, and two easy steps over the sparse rows of low plants took me to the hash. I exited quickly, covering 6.5 km in 75 minutes to catch a train back from Landau Bahnhof. On the way, I pet a cat, disinfected my hands, and enjoyed some cherries I had brought along (I was craving cherries after 2025-06-26 47 9).
