Location

What I was absolutely sure was a public park until I saw the no trespassing sign.

Plans

We were going to drive out to the hash and be back within the hour before our parents got too mad that we were going to a completely random location given to us by the internet and not doing homework.

Expedition

It took almost a half hour to convince my friend that he should come along to what appeared to be the perfect hash. Less than 30 minutes away by car. But I still figured, hey, only twenty-something minutes away, should only take an hour for the whole thing. Should still get back in time to heat up dinner for my sister.

It would have been fine, but I'm bad at taking directions, and my friend isn't fantastic at giving them. So I missed a turn, then another turn, and it took us a while to get on track again. Hit the highway, got off at the wrong exit, ended up in a shady part of town. A quick turn brought me back on the highway, and after driving through the town we parked in some cul-de-sac and began the short walk.

I'll admit I was concerned when I saw the fence, but I had hope until I hit the "No trespassing" sign.
