I'll try to visit any hashpoint if I happen to be around, i. e. I can reach it by bike after work or on weekends. I absolutely won't leave any hashmark unless it's bio-degradable (so, hooray for chalk paintings and twig sculptures, whereas active geohasher posters in plastic jackets are a no-go for me).

Suggestions for future Retro Hashes (a.k.a. nice ones I've missed): 2012-07-31 (Water!) combined with 2012-08-01, 2012-08-02 (home sweet home MTB), 2012-07-19 and 2012-07-22 (Hohenwarte and Plothen, both beautiful), and 2012-07-20 and 2012-07-21 (just because they're so near and could easily be combined with any other trip).

15 Zeitzgrund (50,11) on Apr 23, 2019 (Point lay on some kind of riding arena with a fence around it - no trespassing. At least tried to pick adventurous paths for the way back, which caused the Ninja's derailleur hanger to break.)

14 Loch Linnhe (56,-5) on Sep 18, 2014 Scotland Geohash on Indieref day, failed because of the annoying habit of the British to fence every piece of swamp they own.

13 Bucha (50,11) on Aug 28, 2014 Coordinates in the middle of thicket, by night. Great.

12 Hohendorf (50,11) on May 22, 2014 (Barley growing all over the hash area, didn't dare to kill it by going there.)

11 Jena (50,11) on Oct 10, 2013 (Couch Potato Almost Honourable Mention, 1.2km from my home - but the Hashpoint was hidden in a maze of fences, I circled it once and couldn't get nearer than 85m.)

03 Mellingen (50,11) on Sep 23, 2009 (Was on my route anyway, but the point itself was between some fishing ponds which were owned and guarded by some fierce looking men with a chainsaw. No point in explaining Geohashing to *them*. Would have needed quite some courageous ambassador.)

02 Bucha (50,11) on Oct 15, 2008 (No Batteries Geohashes rely on satellite pictures being correct. Thanks to one huge motorway building site in the darkness before sunrise, I couldn't quite make out the place. Maybe I was there, but who knows?)
