My initial plan was to take the train to Haguenau and cycle the remaining 30 km to Niederbronn-les-Bains. However my train was 15 minutes late and I missed the connection in Strasbourg. It was already the middle of the afternoon, so I decided to go directly to Niederbronn-les-Bains with the next train.
But rather than waiting one hour in Strasbourg, I cycled a a little bit northwards and took the train further down the line, in Vendenheim.
The geohash was located in a forest, just a few kilometers from Niederbronn-les-Bains train station. I cycled to the coordinates, recorded proof and went back to the station just in time to catch the train home.
