Expedition
On paper this is one of the least exciting geohashes I've done. No epic muddy bike ride, no bush bashing at night through wet scrub, no beers in a park and not even a single cow with flaming horns.
The approach was simple and pleasant enough, a few km longer than my normal commute but with the cost of more traffic and some busy roads to cross. The hash was in the bike lane on a major road. Easily accessible, but I didn't feel like dancing to optimise my GPS proof. Near enough is good enough, a few quick pics and back on my way.
Fortunately, one thing made this hash special. It was the excitement of Felix (who was stuck in iso) at the successful completion of another hash and a three day streak for our Victorian geohashing collective. (Sorry the write up took so long Felix...)
