Hello, Q-Owl. You have new messages at tjtrumpet2323's talk page.

Hello Q-Owl,

Great to see another Geohasher out there. I saw your message on my Talk page. No time now to look into it but I will get back to you. Feel free to message me in German if you like, I can read it very well, writing in German is something different ;-) And no, I don't think there ar eless geohashers these days... only they are spread out over the world more now. -Palmpje (talk) 22:21, 15 November 2013 (EST)

Oops, some time before I replied in more detail. I think your expedition page is fine. The story is more important than design of the page in my opinion. I just like to clean up stuuf like "New Report" on expeditions, try to mend broken links, whatever. Anyway, if you feel that your English is not that good (who am I to judge, I'm Dutch...) most people will understand what you're writing. Don't be shy! On your other point, I think that geohashing is very much alive after 5 years. It's a silly thing, so only a few people will be able to understand what it is about. NOT scoring points, it's about adventure. Having said that... I'm rather new to geahashing as well and live in a 'hard' graticule. About 50% sea, 35% agricultural land, 10% towns/cities... so most of the time no way to get to the hash. But I really love the idea. Sadly, my wife thinks it's silly. But she does want to join me on nice geocaching walks/bike rides. Palmpje (talk) 15:50, 2 December 2013 (EST)
And I forgot to answer your other question. If you use the template to create the page, your expedition will be listed on the pages you mention. It may take some time as a so called 'bot' is processing this. Palmpje (talk) 05:24, 3 December 2013 (EST)

Re: 2014-12-25

Thanks for the Christmas ribbon! But I changed the phrasing just a little, so it parses better in English. Feel free to use if you want. -- OtherJack (talk) 22:44, 3 January 2015 (EST)

Greetings!

Greetings Q-Owl! Thank you for your comment on the Most active users page. It makes me happy to know other geohashers like the work I'm putting into that page.
On a side note, I just realised that both of us had our first geohash adventures on the same day! -- Mystrsyko (talk) 17:10, 16 January 2015 (EST)

And Greetings to you! Yes I like that page. Let's see how many hashes I will visit this year. ...
First geohash adventures on the same day :-))

Another chance to hash in France tomorrow. It's a little bit hard for me to get there, but if you'll come, I'll do my very best to meet you. DODO (talk)
