We have ribbons for consecutive, endurance and multihash.
We lack a ribbon celebrating the awesomeness of geohashers who achieve both the multihash and consecutive achievements. The Polyhash would fill this gap.
There might be a case for re-wording the Endurance Geohashing achievement to remove the seven day restriction and give credit for multiple expeditions within individual days.
Michael5000 attempted 14 points with 10 successful in 7 days starting on 2011-09-14 45 -122.
At the time of writing, he's the only user to gain the endurance achievement but the ribbon does not credit him with the 14 expeditions - he was robbed. And what if he did it in six days. There would be no ribbon.
- Multihash - Reach two or more points in a day. This does not count expeditions that span more than one day.
- Consecutive - Reach points day after day. This does not count multiple expeditions on the same day.
- Endurance - Visit or attempt points seven days in a row without going home. This only works for seven day periods and at present ignores multihashes.
- NEW: Polyhash - Reach consecutive hashpoints spanning two or more days including one or more multihashes. We'd record the number of points attempted, the number reached and the days taken. Extra credit if you take a parrot with you. A note should be added to the consecutive and multihash documentation inviting users to upgrade their ribbon if they got a Polyhash. With this achievement it's OK to return home from time to time. At least one point must be reached per day or the consecutive rule is broken.
