Expedition

  • Hi -- LucasBrown @33.2844,-117.1486 20:24, 16 March 2012 (EDT) --That was posted via phone at the site. More details, now that I have an actual keyboard:

I was driving with my mom up to Caltech to pick up my sister, who had just finished her finals for the term, thus commencing her spring break. I took the off-ramp on the I-15 North onto Old Highway 395, went north to turn the car around, and took the on-ramp from 395 back to I15N, passing over the hashpoint in the process. On the way back, sister on board, we pulled off I15 and actually parked the car, got out, and stood at the hashpoint---in the middle of the road on the on-ramp. I stayed there long enough to post "Hi" from my phone via the app Geohash Droid, and then got out of the way of a rather annoyed driver, back into the car, and continued on home.
