Location
An industrial area near Bornheim.
Participants
Plans
DODO: Ride there on my bull and have a look. Will it be accessible?
Expedition
DODO (talk): In short: Yes, it was accessible, at least kind of, and it was an extremely lucky location.
Now, that is clear, the longer version. When the sun came out in the afternoon, and still no one wanted to go out with me, I decided to saddle my bike and go for a hash. But then I remarked that the bowden cable is ripping and so I had to switch to my bull. This turns out to be a very lucky decission because the wind was blowing that strong that I would never had made it to the hash and back in time (I have to cook this evening, asian rice soup with duck breast and hot chicken with avocado-dip). On my way I found an iron cross and a former cloister of the Knights of St. John of Jerusalem. Well, nothing is left of the cloister, but in 2010 they build a gothic arc in the fields where the cloister was. And it has to be very important at its time.
When I came near the hash I found it on the other side of a flat but raptor contaminated ditch. On the other side of it there was a small way between two fences of industrial areas.
To be continued later...
