Inari, Iso-Ruohokangas by the side of highway 91, in a dry pine swamp.

Wife had already given up on them ever conquering this graticule, but she was happy to be wrong. The point happened to be only 305 m off highway 91. The whole graticule is just ponds and swamp. There was a reindeer fence by the point so it was easy to use that as a guide. The terrain was easy to walk on so Wife was able to keep up with Pastori and got photos of more than just Pastori's back. The joint portrait shows how happy they were to reach this must get spot. On their way back Wife was horrified to notice a broken glass bottle on the ground, even though there aren't people any where near there. They took the glass with them so animals wouldn't hurt themselves on it and dropped it off at the recycling centre at Ivalo. Thankfully the centre was there because the road continues straight to Russia with the snowy tops of the fells on the other side of the border visible in the distance. Pastori and Wife returned the other way and had a nice bed, a week's vacation and of course a relaxing sauna waiting for them.
