- Do not oppose, although I don't think this is worth an achievement. I would prefer to keep it as a gratuitious ribbon. Maybe I'm the only one here who still sees cats as vile carnivorous hunters, not falling for their cuteness disguise. --Ekorren 18:49, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
Elaborate comments
- Concerns have been raised as to whether it is safe to pat foreign cats. Is it a good thing to encourage that, while including a "do it at your own risk" clause? -- relet 15:13, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

Modification
- Needs work: I didn't see this before so this is my comment: make it so the hashcat has to be at or within 100m of the hashpoint. And it must have been their of its own accord, not dragged-along. Otherwise this achievement is far too easy in many places, e.g. if your neighbour has a cat. --davidc 16:38, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
- Ack. But I would not restrict it to a given distance. That's ok for static objects (couches and offices), but difficult to prove for a moving being. The "significantly close" bit would address your neighbour's cat, if you agree. -- relet 20:51, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
