This is only 1.5 miles from our new home in Schallstadt. Great opportuinity for a geohashing comeback and for Patüffel's very first geohash. Our plan is to go for a run and collect the hashpoint at hash-o-clock.

Expedition

After more than a year of absence, this was a nice and easy one to come back to geohashing in our new home graticule (together with 48,7, the latitude runs directly through Freiburg, which is why sadly no graticule is named after the city). The weather was pleasant, and after running for a few km we were just in time for an official Saturday meetup. The hashpoint turned out to be located at the very end of a dead end road, so we were watched a little bit suspiciously from a nearby window. Patüffel slept most of the time in her stroller, and then acknowledged her very first geohashing adventure with a grumpy look on her face. On our way back, when we decided to go some extra miles through the vineyards, she even started to complain verbosely, but then very soon fell asleep again.
