Still lacking a GPS unit; any recommendations on what to get?

I and a friend will be going this week and are planning to go next week. Neither of us has a GPS unit, but a friend of his has one that we might be able to borrow. Otherwise it's map and compass, baby! --Shaun 16:41, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
