Expedition
Cam, Claire, Andy and I went to a party in Rye on Saturday night and then spent Sunday at Portsea beach. We left at about 3pm in Cam's car, had Pizza for lunch in Sorrento, and then drove to Elsternwick.
As we turned off the Nepean Highway we spotted an amusing sign on a church that said "Down Down Jesus Came Down". In case anyone is lucky enough not to have heard the Coles ads this sign is referencing here they are: [1] and [2]. They are played frequently on TV and played on loop through the speakers in Coles supermarkets.
The four of us pulled up on the side of the road for a group photo. Hash reached at 4:51pm. We then piled back in to get the speed racer achievement. The speed limit was 50km/h and in spite of speed bumps nearby, $haniqua (Cam's car) made it to 50, however the camera wasn't ready the first time so we turned and drove through again and then drove home.
Stevage was also at the party and beach but was going home via bike/train, he was thinking about trying to get the speed racer achievement on a bike. Steve never made it to the hash as he was apparently eaten by the sun and no one has seen him since(or maybe only I haven't).
