I decided to try something new today - attempt the speed racer hash by driving through the hashpoint. This was before I realized the hashpoint was in an apartment complex.
The hashpoint was very close to my university and right on the way home. There was a detour probably due to this on Floyd Road, but the road was never closed.
Once I got to the apartment complex and began heading east, I realized that the hashpoint was slightly north of me. There was a mother playing with her child on a tricycle. They moved out of my way (also slightly northward), making them unintentionally hit the hashpoint (this may be considered Puppet Master, but no proof...).
In order to not weird out the residents of the complex, I decided to turn around and drive over the hashpoint. The speed limit in apartment complexes tends to be 5 mph, so I was easily able to get Speed Racer.
