Pastori, the chaffinches and the point.

After a good nights rest, Pastori and Wife were excited to head out towards a new point and a new, unconquered graticule. It was a 100 km away though and the day was even hotter than the previous day. The car's thermometer climbed up to +30 degrees Celsius on the way over.

The drive was pretty exhausting but thankfully the point itself was very easy. It was located in the municipality of Imatra, near the Tainionkoski power plant, only 10 m from the road. It wasn't possible to park the car right at the spot so they drove over next to the power plant and walked back the 100 metres to the point on the sidewalk. There it was, right across the road. Pastori was very excited for this change from their usual environment and was whistling along with the chaffinches. Screencap with a 0.6 m accuracy.

They figured that the drive back wouldn't be any less hot so they drove into the city of Imatra for some coffee. The shop was out of ice cream as these kinds of temperatures are pretty unheard of in the spring in Finland and we're all boiling. Being intolerably hot all the way to her core Wife immediately took a cooling shower as soon as they got back to their lodgings. Pastori also settled for a simple shower instead of the sauna, who would have thought!
