Baarde is going to take his bicycle and ride there in the afternoon. He expects to reach the hashpoint around 16:00.

Expedition

I took the EuroVelo 5 route from Bergheim to Mittelbergheim. The route curves around the eastern slopes of the Vosges mountains and passes through many wine producing villages.

The geohash was located at the end of a narrow strip of grass, between two vineyards, a few hundred meters before the entrance of the village. I recorded proof, ate a quick snack, then headed back home.

This was a very pleasant expedition. The route was nice and the weather warm and sunny.
