Expedition

I first had to patch my bike's flat tire (again), but set off in the early evening after doing so. I rode the A1 for 18 minutes and then cycled 5.5 km to the hashforest. Because it had rained heavily, I went around to the back of the forest so I wouldn't have to cycle through the mud (I knew the only half a square kilometre large forest from 2020-02-26 53 9). I left my bike at the edge and walked the small path into the forest for 270 m, then had to climb across a small nettle-filled ditch where I sustained a few burns and walk into the forest for 60 m. I absolutely love being in forests, especially after it has rained, and this forest was particularly invigorating because of the heavy shrubbery and logs on the ground, with little human interference. I hashdanced in some ferns at the edge of a small clearing until I found an acceptable position, then took photos of the breathtakingly beautiful scenery, as well as of me and Lumie (who loved it just as much). I would've loved to linger a bit longer, but had to head back to catch my train, which I managed just in time, trying not to run over any of the countless slugs on the path (they were abundant in the forest as well). Forests are by far my favourite ordinary geohash locations.
