Welcome to the Geohashing Community and congratulations on your first expedition! Regarding your comment: Don't worry, not meeting any other people at Geohashes happens all the time, even if you create the page before going. There simply aren't that many active Geohashers. However, there is another Geohasher "near" you: OfficeLinebacker from the Frederick, Maryland graticule.
