Recon
Just 36 meters off a residential lane, and a sub-1-mile walk, bike, or car ride from Reservoir Station on the D Green Line.
- Phyzome: I'll be there!

I walked from Reservoir Station down Chestnut Hill Ave, then Heath Hill St. Just before the hash's closest-approach point was a permanent gate across the road, preventing through traffic. (So, not exactly a 1-mile drive. I'm glad I was on foot.)
My rapidly-dying GPS pointed me to the backyard of a large gray house. Since there were no cars in the driveway, I went in as far as I felt was appropriate. I would have needed to go a bit more South, but that was too close to the house.
I retreated to the road and waited for any latecomers. After a few minutes, Spot pulled up in a car with a Linux bumpersticker. That was the first time I'd met someone at a hash! Very exciting.

I was a little bit late arriving to the hash, there was a rather involved accident on the way that snarled up traffic, but Phyzome stuck around! The coordinates looked to be either right in, or just next to the nearby house (which didn't seem to be occupied at the moment), so we went down into their yard (but not into their house, of course). Phyzome was prepared to document the hash with a nice camera, as opposed to my iPhone, so all the pictures are his.
Very different from the first hash I went to (with Randall and about 100 other people), but still fun!
