Rural Poquoson in a swampy area around where RT 171 ends.

Expedition

I tried to go after a run around The Hamptons golf course. Took about 30 minutes to get near the point. I was using my Phone as my GPS and depending on the program I was using received different directions to the coordinates. The first program told me to go through a cemetery and down a private road with NO TRESPASSING signs everywhere. Growing up in Gloucester I know that rural people like their privacy so decided against pursuing that set of directions. Distance to the point was about a mile. The second program took me to a dead end road which had a small fire road leading into the brush with more NO TRESPASSING signs. Foiled again I turned back for home. Distance to the point was about half a mile.

This is the first time I've tried to reach a GeoHash point and I'm glad I went. Saw some cool houses, a fox, and places I haven't been to that are basically in my back yard. I'm going to keep looking and trying and I'll get my first point soon. If anyone has any plans to meet around the bottom two peninsula I'd love to meet up.
