zeKieranator, his family, and some friends he's dragging along.
Plans
The hash isn't that far from the road, so we're planning to drive as close as possible and walk the rest of the way.
Expedition
The journey started fairly uneventfully. Seeing as it was my first hash, I wasn't expecting all that much from it anyway. The car journey went through various country roads, and at one point my mother was afraid to go over a bridge that was particularly cramped, at which I had to get out of the car and guide her along the road.
Near the end of the trip, we turned onto a road which was labelled as being owned by the Yorkshire Water Company. Fortunately, it still gave public access up to a point, and when our GPS told us to turn off the road, we parked and headed for the hashpoint. Unfortunately, the path was blocked by a barbed wire fence all the way across the road, and after wandering up and down for 10 minutes or so, we couldn't find any public entrances, so we assumed there was no way in without trespassing on the Yorkshire Water land and headed home.
