Flicky and his brother planned to walk along the road and get as close to the point as possible, hoping it would be obvious whether or not the point was on private property.
Expedition
Google Maps was misleading as to what routes could be taken on foot, and what was supposed to be a half-hour walk from the train station turned into a three-hour-long trek as we had to retrace our steps and find a different route. In the end, we couldn't tell whether the field we'd have to cross to reach the hashpoint was a public one or not - there was clear farmland nearby, several "Private Property" signs on neighbouring land, and the remains of a wire fence that would have blocked our way if it had still been standing.
