Plans

Hash in another graticule, how exciting! I'm planning to first take a bus to Stupino train station, then train to Domodedovo and then finally bus to Sudakovo, from where it should be reachable by foot. Seems rather cool!

Expedition

Troubles started even before actual expedition, with me accidentally creating page for day before correct one, sources wouldn't agree on what route does bus take and I truly should have known better than trying to reach geohash near place called Zabor'e... For those who doesn't know Russian: Zabor'e's intended meaning is "place behind dense forests", but it also can be read as "place full of fences" (fence is zabor in Russian), and sure enough later meaning turned out to be very true... But let's look at everything in order of events. I suggest taking a look at tracklog while reading the story.

After taking bus to train station and train from Stupino to Domodedovo (and having a bit of breakfast during later), I've left train station and started recording tracklog. Luckily, but station was in plain sight from exit, not requiring any further search. After looking around and figuring out which terminal bus departs from I've spend the rest of (rather short) wait looking at various near-station shops, worth of note being one specializing in red caviar.

Then I took a bus #31 once it arrived and headed straight into adventure. As it turned out, many smaller stops (including one optimal for me) were by request, so I got out notably later than I planned. Additionally, overall route is pretty bizarre (look at tracklog, it's worth it) and didn't went trough the best possible station. Regardless of all of that, I kept following my route, first backtracking to optimal bus stop, then taking road trough fields toward geohash.

After walking past quarry and village I've finally arrived in Zabor'e. And this is where the interesting part begins. Road went straight into two gates in different fences, neither looking especially welcoming. Looking at this, I've backtracked a bit and tried to walk along fence trough the field, but quickly abandoned this once realizing that fence was around entire group of houses, coming back to road.

Comparing OSMAnd with visible nature revealed path trough the forest and along the river, not going exactly where I wanted, but seemingly promising. After following it for a bit, I've turned deeper into forest... surely enough, to run into a fence. And also find another path, also ending in (yet another!) fence. Looking at this in despair, I turned back to the road and then to two gates, snapping a rather curious photo during this.

After getting back on road I've noticed something wasn't quite right about my boot. Examination revealed that I got a piece of glass stuck there, very luckily without injuring myself but slightly damaging boot (it's still well usable, but replacement is recommended asap). Despite all of this, I wasn't done yet! Despite seemingly endless nature of fence (looking at my reveals that it's about 1km long), I've decided to walk along it to the end, victorious or otherwise! Taking my shirt off (it's been a really sunny day), I set on my way along it. It was a fence with a long story: some sections made of concrete, some of iron bars, some even had barbed wire on top!

But everything have an end, and so did this fence, even if it didn't looked like this. Walking around its corner, I went into forest from this side... only to walk into the very same fence I've seen when entering the forest from riverside path. Feeling angry at the universe with its puns, I've turned back, to once again walk along the endless fence under the scorching sun, then to the nearest (also not exactly close) bus stop under the very same sun.

Once on a stop, I finally got to sit down and eat a snack while waiting for a bus. Being the only person on a stop, bus didn't quite turned there, making me run to door across the road. I've turned off GPS during this ride back to Domodedovo. Back in the city, I've decided to take second next train - it's not like I'm going to visit Domodedovo in a while! Looking around after getting a bottle of kvass and two packs of crisps have shown that Domodedovo is indeed a rather normal city, with shops of every possible specialization, KFC not open yet but promising to do so soon and drunk homeless guy sleeping on grass (no, there are no photos of him).

Having enough of a look I went to platform to wait for train, that seemed a little too crowded. As it turned out, one of trains was running late by about 15mins. Once it finally arrived, it got considerably better, but I've only had to wait 4mins for my train. Trip back went just as planned, with bus taking me home from train station. It was a rather tiring expedition overall and it's quite a shame I didn't reached coordinates. Better luck next time to me, I guess.
