I had been invited for lunch by a couple of friends who live in Boofzheim, not far from the Rhine river. I decided to make a small detour across the border on my way there.

The plan was to cycle from Sélestat to Marckolsheim, cross the bridge to Sasbach, follow the Rhine for 10 km, go geohashing in Rheinhausen, then take the Rhinau-Kappel ferry back to France.

The coordinates were located in the middle of a cornfield, 60 meters away from the path. But I was hoping that maybe I would find tractor tracks or some other way to reach the coordinates without damaging the corn. Unfortunately the cornstalks were planted in thick rows, parallel to the road.

Achievements
