Another date night detour to a posted Geohash. After work, like last week I was going to my girlfriend's place for dinner and wanted to stop at this Geohash on the way. I could clearly see the fence in the satellite pictures, but figured I could still get pretty close and then just continue on my way.
This was a very uneventful hash as I once again, didn't even need to get out of my car. I just pulled into the parking space in front of the fence as close to the Geohash as I could get. I got a pretty close reading, but with a giant electrified fence between me and the hash, this was definitely not reachable. As I was leaving the parking lot, it looked like the person entrance gate was open, but the security measures clearly said to 'Keep Out' if you didn't belong here.
Not much else to say besides as I was leaving the truck entrance to get back on the I-90 ramp, I noticed a sign saying that only authorized vehicles should enter this area, but I missed that in the dark...oh well.
