I like the drive to Marysville. There’s that one really good bit of the drive. You know the bit. It’s where all the accidents happen because it’s just so distractingly pretty and/or a fairly dangerous stretch of road.
But on this day at this time, the sun was hitting all the right bits just right and the light was amazing and the trees were amazing and it was all just so perfect and pure and I wanted to shove the image into my brain and keep it forever. It's a good drive.
Today’s hash was in the middle of some kind of tree plantation. A prior Google hadn't turned up any details on the level of public access, so I took a gamble and had a back-up adventure ready to go if this was a bust.
So The Mighty Yaris and I found the turn off to the plantation, and as we trundle down the dirt road I suspected we might soon be met with a No Access sign.
We were soon met with a No Access sign.
I might have been tempted to wander in regardless but there were several big logging trucks rattling past and I got intimidated and turned around.
So, no GeoHashing success today. I did, however, manage to find a classic country bakery for a salad sanga before embarking on my back-up adventure, which involved a nice waterfall.
