Today's hash was among some trees in the middle of heathland and sand dunes on the northern edge of the Veluwe area. I was familiar with the area, because I also went here on 2021-11-13 52 5. I parked the hashmobile in the same car park as last time and walked towards the hash. It was nice and cool in the early morning, and there was no one else to be seen. As I came closer, I noticed that part of the area had been roped off to create a quiet area for wildlife. I continued along the rope for a while, but eventually found out that the hash was right in the middle of the forbidden area. I took some pictures and walked back to the hashmobile. I then drove over to the pretty little town of Elburg and visited its museums.

After a few hundred metres, the forest gives way to sand and heathland.
Lots of spiderwebs are glistening in the morning sun.
This sign shows which parts are open to the public, and whice parts are out of bounds. I'm pretty sure this is a new thing; I can't recall seeing this last time.
The hash is right ahead.

Lloyd is disappointed.
Just to make sure, I went back to another path leading toward the hash, but it was definitely closed off.
