In my case it showed the message saying it was trying to fetch the location info repeatedly, like a hundred times a second. It might be related to the fact that I live in a 30W area and it was before the 30W rule? Or there's just something off with my phone. --CO2 (talk) 20:18, 21 October 2015 (EDT)

I'll test some more old dates when I have time. Anyway, it's nice you tried, I'm glad I'm not the only one who followed up on my idea.
