From Geohashing
Sure you got the time and coordinates right?
- On what day was the expedition? The title specifies June 6 but the content mentions June 5.
- The coordinates you're using should be verified against the fractional coordinates listed in the day's expeditions page (e.g. 2008-06-06), for locations east of -30°. The coordinates are usually posted soon after the dow data becomes available, and are apparently verified by at least some readers. All that's left to do is to add (32,34) to the fractional coordinates. On both dates in question the coordinates seem to point into the sea.
- Did you perhaps try to calculate the coordinates for the next day before 4:30 PM local time? That's when the dow opens.

The expedition was on May 5th, we wrote the wiki entry on May 6th, so as to add more confusion, we accidentally put it on May 6's page... We indeed calculated the coordinates before 4:30 PM local time, so as we said, the Dow Jone's data was from the previous day. If the expedition is still considered "Kosher" as a true Geohashing, we will add pictures later on today or tomorrow. Pelegs 11:11, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
