Hi, welcome to hashing. I'm always glad to see more aussie hashers around, even if they are a thousand Km away.

220Km for milk... made me laugh, although I've done similar things on the odd occasion.

Sounds like an interesting first trip.

As far as the no tresspassing thing is concerned, yeah, private property is considered off limits, but there are exceptions depending on the circumstances. You can also go for an Ambassador_achievement of course. Also, with Parks it can be worth checking for tracks which may lead closer to where you want, even if they start further away (in my experience at least). Then again, it will depend on what sort of transport you have, where you're willing to take it, and how long you have.
