Great report! Keep on hashing, at least you're in a land graticule. Mine is 50% sea, 30+% meadows (inaccessible)... and I'm not near the border of adjacent graticules. And when a spot can be reached... It's usually on a workday and too far away. Anyway, keep going. Palmpje (talk) 04:38, 8 November 2013 (EST)
Congrats on your first hash, hope you make it out again. And best of luck meeting other hashers while out in the field. There's evidence on the graticule page that someone else is at least checking up on the Cincinnati graticule. Also, don't be affraid to try hashes that are questionably accessible. There's no shame in trying (but failing) to reach a day's coordinates, if you had fun and/or adventure in the trying. --Eldin (talk) 14:04, 8 November 2013 (EST)
Greetings from 111 degrees eastward from you! Very nice first expedition! Or at least it was a wonderfully told story! The report would make an excellent movie script per se - or then again, maybe a movie about geohashing wouldn't have much of an audience.. But anyways, keep on hashing!
