From Geohashing
Hey guys, I'm not really sure about the earliest Geohasher Achievement, does it go to Elimik31 or to DODO (he claimed to stumbled into the forest, but had no light to find the Hash for sure) or doesn't it go to anyone because Chemluth and [insert newhasher name] found it together? - RecentlyChanged (talk) 17:47, 8 December 2014 (EST)
- Ok, another question bothers me, I invited [insert newhasher name] to the game per Email without knowing him or exactly mean him in person, and met him while he was at the hashpoint. Does it count for abduction or puppeting? - RecentlyChanged (talk) 18:05, 8 December 2014 (EST)
- Concerning the earliest gh-Achievement, I think it has to go to Chemluth and Lambda (or none of them). In my opinion, it's the spirit of the achievement, to thank for doing all the preparation stuff like searching the correct place and finding a convenient way to go there and so on, and that's exactly, what those two did for us. And I think, puppeting is the best choice for your gaining a new geohashing-memeber. Well done by the way. DODO (talk) PS: I won't make it to a report today, so sorry.
- I think drag-along is better than Puppet-Master. While you didn't get to the hash together, you convinced the new guy via email to go. In the Puppet-Master achievement, you are sending your 'puppet' to the hash where you are not going\unable to get there. I would say you are eligible for the meet-up achievement too, because you met them face to face for the first time at the hash(although, purists might disagree).
