Talk:Massachusetts
From Geohashing
Hartford
I guess you could call this splitting hairs. See here, and notice that MA has a little bit sticking down in the middle of its border with CT. The southernmost tip of that piece dips into the Hartford grat. That's why it was included initially. --Dvdllr 13:09, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for reverting the edit and setting me straight. I really ought not to edit the wiki so late at night. By the way, that little piece of Massachusetts that dips into Connecticut is called "The Notch". I didn't realize it extended into the Hartford graticule. Sara 14:19, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
