What about if your wearing xkcd's No raptor T-shirt to keep the raptors at bay?
- You could go for the geoflashing achievement.
Also, what about flying raptors (owls, hawks, eagles), or F-22 Raptors? Do sightings count, especially with photographic evidence? Or is the actual attack requisite? --KarMann 03:10, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- The proof section reads "evidence of geohashers bearing visible wounds", so sightings of other species don't count. But if a F-22 drops a bomb on you, you will receive an honorable mention. - Danatar 08:45, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

Is my hash 2009-07-09_-19_146 eligible to gain this achievement. We couldn't tell what attacked in the dense scrub but there was evidence of raptor activity in the area as documented in the expedition section. --Twistie 15:43, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
