Star Spangled Sparks and other fireworks shows

If the hash point is favorable, the view of the Reno-Sparks area fireworks shows could be excellent. If not, I suggest meeting up somewhere around Truckee Meadows Community College for relatively unobstructed views. If anyone else is as into the fireworks, is this a good alternative?
