Name

Username means Mr. Png in French, Png being my surname. To pronounce it, say anything ending in "ing". Then remove the "i" sound. Then add a "p" sound. There we go. Other vowel-independent Singaporean surnames include Ng, Sng, Thng, Khng, pronounced similarly. Singapore being a country with a large majority of southern Chinese origin, such surnames come from the region of Fujian and are phonetically translated from the dialect of Hokkien.

For simplicity, can be addressed as "Z" (Zed), the first letter of my given name.

Geohashing

Currently resides in Cambridge, Massachusetts, but is on winter break in Paris, France, until 24 Jan 2010.
