Salamander earned the Curse of Unawareness Consolation Prize by reaching the (39, -75) geohash on 2009-03-22 without knowing it was there.

Drove right through it on my way back from a frisbee tournament in North Carolina. Had no idea about the location of the geohash until the day after, when I was looking at the geohashes I had missed while I was gone. Edit: Drove right *past* it.
