Hi. My name is thunk. Okay, it isn't really, but that's the closest thing to a name I have going for me right now.

While my actual home is within Illinois, I go to university and may occasionally hash within the Oklahoma City graticule.

I like weather, the hard sciences, xkcd in general, etc etc.. and a number of other revolving interests, the most recent of which are Conway's Game of Life, and the occasional geohash. I'm also quite shy. Which might lead to problems if I actually find myself at a meetup...
