- For a moment, the way you typed that message made me think it was an automated message! I'm pretty excited that, within hours of me being on the site, some complete stranger has found me and said hello! Just how big is this? How many geohashers are there? - If you go the the Acheivement page there is usually a link to the template. For example: near the top of the Snowman Geohash there is a link for the Template:Snowman_geohash. Copy and paste and fill in the blanks! :) --Meghan 22:40, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
- That simple eh? I'll do just that once I've done my first geohash. Is it just me or does geohash sound like it's a new form of marijuana? Also Although it says UTC after the timestamp I'm pretty sure it means GMT. Don't know if you're seeing that too. JPBStory =-) 22:49, 8 April 2010 (UTC)

- UTC is pretty much the same as GMT, except for leap seconds, and that it doesn't call out a named spot on the earth. Is that what you are referring to? Looks like it puts the UTC timestamp in as part of the four-tilde expansion, but doesn't make it local time like it does for displaying timezone in the Recent-Changes page and page-history display.
