Expedtion Template

subst:Expedition |lat = latitude of graticule |lon = longitude of graticule |date = date of expedition, in YYYY-MM-DD format

Note to Self: this is what you use to make a new expedition page + two {}'s

I always find this information by clicking on "Help", then choosing "Expedition" as in "Reporting on your Expedition", and the Substitution template is at the bottom of the first page displayed. Jiml 21:33, 7 October 2010 (UTC)

"Successful expedition"

The "Coordinates Reached" category means that you actually reached the coordinates of the hashpoint, not an alternate point. So, I think your most recent geohash would be "Not Reached" and "Mother Nature", since you did try to get there. Now, for a Saturday Meetup, if you met someone else at the alternate point, it would count as a Meetup, but would still be "Coordinates not reached".

(Saturdays are special for the xkcd Centurion award.)

That said, it does count as an expedition, it gets you out into the world, meeting people, and should be encouraged. Jiml 02:31, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
