EcoFriendly achievement

Definitely needs discussion and clarification on what should count as "eco-friendly" transportation, but the rough outline of an idea has been created. This achievement would be a milestone-based achievement, and would be claimable at each individual step. The achievement is inspired by Ekorren's gratuitous ribbon on the 2010-06-25 48 9 page.

This user earned the EcoFriendly achievement by reaching a milestone of {{{count}}} total geohashes without using individual motorised transport at the ({{{latitude}}}, {{{longitude}}}) geohash, on [[{{{date}}} {{{latitude}}} {{{longitude}}}|{{{date}}}]].

The EcoFriendly achievement can be claimed when you reach a certain milestone of total geohashes without using individual motorised transport during the expedition. This achievement is designed to encourage geohashers to engage with the activity in a way that is kinder to the environment. Reaching the geohash without individual motorised transport is not always possible due to distance and time, but it should be encouraged where possible.

Individual motorised transport is defined as any method of transportation in which harmful exhausts such as CO2 are emitted, and the transport is private rather than public. A journey in a car would not add to your total eco-friendly geohashes, even if it was with a friend, but a journey in a bus or train would, as these are publicly available. A fully electric motor would not disqualify you for this achievement, but a hybrid motor may.

• 5 geohashes - EcoBeginner
• 10 geohashes - EcoStudent
• 25 geohashes - EcoCompetent
• 50 geohashes - EcoExpert
• 100 geohashes - EcoMaster
• 200 geohashes - EcoLegend

Proof

You must provide a description of all methods of transportation used in your expedition reports in order to claim this achievement. None of these modes of transportation may be in the form of individual motorised transport, or the expedition will not count towards your total.
