Planning

Since the Sukkot holiday is giving us the entire week off, this was the perfect time to try to grab any points that ended up in reachable locations. Today's point was in an easily identifiable spot within an industrial park, but it's way up north -- so we decided to make a day trip out of it and do some other stuff up there in the meantime.

Our plans were as follows: 1) Visit Montfort castle. 2) Wander around the city of Akko (Acre). 3) Drop by the hashpoint on the way home.

Expedition

This expedition was part of my "geohashing doldrums", where I had briefly lost interest in the hobby and made virtually no attempt to actually reach the points I was headed for.

In this case we tried to reach Montfort Castle, left the house late, arrived very late, wandered around the trails for a while (and had a nice time), never reached the castle, left near sundown, and briefly considered making the originally intended stop at the Tamboor factory before deciding screw it and heading straight home.
