Hehe - three things:
1) I love the graticule maps for these two grats :P
2) The purpose of the station is access to the Southern Pole of Inaccessibility in the adjacent graticule. - it totally makes it sound like they erected a base station for the purpose of geohashing; all so they could access the adjacent graticule!.
