Sadly, our plans were thwarted by a man on a tractor and impenetrable hedges. However, I had a nice picnic at the park nearby, even though Summer did steal half my mozzarella-tomato salad while I was looking away. Mosquitos at Emrickson Park ended my plans of reading until sunset, but seeing a new part of Illinois was rather nice. Perhaps next Saturday will bring less mosquitos and more geohashers!

Location

In trees between two fields in Woodstock.

Participants

ecthros and Summer

Plans

We'll be there at 4 p.m., with a kite, games and probably food. If the fields are private property, we will relocate to Emrickson Park (42.31169,-88.46954) shortly after, where I will do my homework and perhaps fly a kite while attempting to make Summer sleepy for the ride home. Look for a happy puppy, that'll be Summer, and I will be nearby.

Expedition

Sadly, our plans were thwarted by a man on a tractor and impenetrable hedges. However, I had a nice picnic at the park nearby, even though Summer did steal half my mozzarella-tomato salad while I was looking away. Mosquitos at Emrickson Park ended my plans of reading until sunset, but seeing a new part of Illinois was rather nice. Perhaps next Saturday will bring less mosquitos and more geohashers!
