I set off at about 23:40 on the short walk from my house to the location. A week ago, I'd dropped my phone in a sink full of water, so after being unable to find any batteries for the digital camera, I had to make do with the atrocious flash-less photographing capabilities of my replacement Nokia 6300. I took a torch, and my satnav, and arrived after approx a 10 minute walk. It was then that I turned the satnav on, and the battery promptly died. I did manage to get one screenshot though, which shows my location at that time to be a few metres from the co-ordinates. I waited a bit for my phone to say midnight, and passed the time trying to get the best photos I could.

Mahahahaneapneap's midnight geohash

The area was completely deserted, but I didn't want to risk being seen acting so suspiciously and have the police called on me, so I left shortly after midnight.
